TODAY'S SCRIPTURES: Phil 1 :25.
TOPIC: GOD'S OUTSTRETCHED ARM.

TEXT: "And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs and with wonders:" Deut. 26 :8.
In the early days of the Church, the believers prayed: "And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants that with all boldness they may speak thy word, by stretching forth thine hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus" Acts 4 :29 - 30.
They asked the Lord to stretch forth His hand to heal and perform miracles.
Evidently, this was the prayer of a baby church.
They had not matured in the things of God and we can see this from God's response.
The Bible says, "when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness" Acts 4 :31.
God did not part the heavens and stretch out His hand to perform the miracles they were asking for. Rather, He filled them with the Holy Ghost.
Then, the Bible says, "By the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people" Acts 5 :12.
This makes us know that as believers, we're God's outstretched arm.
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit; His dwelling place and living headquarters.
God moves through your hands. This is why you must always be sensitive to the needs and problems of those around you.
You are God's outstretched arm of Salvation, hope and healing to a hurting world.
You're the solution the world is looking for.

PRAYER.
Father, as I pray, help me walk in the reality of who I am, in Jesus name.

Topic:  GOD DWELLS IN YOU

TEXT: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?." 1 Cor. 3:16.

Christianity is not a religion; it's the pulsating life of God in a human person. When you become a Christian, it means eternal life has been imparted into your spirit. You become God's dwelling place. So, now that you're born again, God has fully tabernacled in you. You've become His living headquarters. He looks through your eyes and walks with your legs. You're a God-carrying vessel. The Bible talking about Jesus in Colossians 2:9-10 says. .. "In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the God head bodily. And ye are complete in Him." Take note of "And ye are complete in Him" In other words, all of divinity resides in you. You have become God's operating center. You're loaded with the maximum load of God. That is what it means to be "Complete in Him", as rendered in the original Greek text.                           You have in you the genes of your heavenly Father. You are as divine as God is divine. You are His living tabernacle. You have His and that makes you supernatural. You are sufficient in His sufficiency 2 Corinthians 3:5, in other words, His abilities are at work in you and that is why the Bible in 2 Peter 1:4 declares that you are a partaker of His divine nature.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, from today, help me to carry the consciousness that you dwell in me.

Just thinking today about the damage and affect of this hurricane had on so many. This led me to thinking about how many storms like this we have seen in our lifetime so far. Hurricanes Ivan (2004), Katrina (2005), Ike (2008) Sandy (2012) and others that have caused so much death and destruction. We know this natural catastrophe can happen again, so why not start making preparations ahead of time? Designate places where people can go to get to safety (just in case), places for their pets and animals to be taken care of with some sort of id's or collars with the owners name (unless they have chips). Just seems that someone would have come up with a plan for states bordering the ocean.

CONSUMING FIRE
Text   : "For our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:29.
God is a consuming fire not an ice block. God's personality is fire, His language is fire. When He appeared to Moses, He appeared in the form of fire, when came to rescue Elisha, He came with chariots of flaming fire.
God is not just fire, but a consuming fire. At His appearance, everything that does not look like Him melts away [ Psalm 97:5].
The interesting thing here is that you look exactly like Him (Jesus) and Jesus is the perfect picture of the Father. So, on account of this formidable and irrefutable truth, you are admonished by the Spirit through Paul the apostle to imitate the Father as a beloved child [Ephesians 5:1]. God's personality reveals to the believer His true personality. If you can know God accurately, you have known yourself. So, let it settle in your heart that you are a consuming fire. Expect everything that does not look like God around you to melt at your emergence. More Grace.

Highpoint of Tuesday’s  outing was the large turnout of people for the crusade in Stonecrest late in the evening which resulted in many giving their lives to Jesus Christ as Saviour and the healing of the sick, including several who abandoned their wheelchairs.
The preacher later visited the famous Woolworths Lunch Counter Sit-ins and The Center for Civil & Human Rights Museum Georgia.
He was conducted round the facilities by His host, Martin Luther King Jnr III.
In a statement, his communications manager, Phrank Shaibu stated that it was noteworthy that the awards were unsolicited and took place in the United States where integrity and selfless services are rewarded.
He assured members of the church as well as admirers worldwide of the unflinching commitment of Apostle Suleman to the redemption of souls, healing, deliverance from satanic oppression and breakthrough in all spheres of life.

TODAY'S READING 2 Timothy 1:1-18

TOPIC: CROWN OF GLORY
TEXT: John 19:5 (KJV)  Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!"

Jesus was crowned with thorns so you can be crowned with His glory. Christ suffered so you will not suffer. Peter the apostle began to let us know in his epistle that glory should follow after the sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 1:11). The question now is, has Christ suffered? If yes, then resolve to get nothing less but the glory that should follow.

Glory speaks of beauty and splendour, it speaks of honour and majesty. By reason of what Christ has done, you are to be a spectacle of honour, beauty and splendour. Therefore you don't have to continue in sin (reproach). If you can arm yourself with that mindset (1 Peter 4:1)!

My goal this morning is to establish in you that mindset that your life ought to be a display of God's beauty and splendour. Permit it to be deep-seated in your heart and you will see the radical positive effect it will have in your life and in all that concerns you.

PRAYER
My Father, My Father, crown all that concerns me with your glory in Jesus name...

Topic: WHEN THREE RULES WERE BROKEN AND PROTOCOL SUSPENDED! - 2.
( JOHN 9:29-41).
We continue today on the second and third rules that were broken when that blind man who did not pray a prayer was released from captivity! The second rule was:
THIS MAN WAS NOT A BELIEVER! REMEMBER THAT HE ASKED JESUS WHO HE WAS! THAT MEANS HE NEVER EVEN KNEW WHO JESUS WAS! OH! HE WAS NOT QUALIFIED! Amazing! This is a case of God looking for this man to qualify him! And that shall be your story! Special mercy and favor shall be shown to you and that favor shall qualify you for your EVIDENCE and testimony. The mercy of God is the qualifier of man and that mercy will pass millions to locate you. Amen!
The third rule that was broken was that the Lord healed this blind man by fixing clay with spittle from His mouth. To the average Jew in those days, the spit from your mouth was medicinal but MUST NEVER BE USED ON A SABBATH DAY! But the Lord deliberately healed this man on a Sabbath day to break the rule of TIME and DATE. That means any rule of human calendar or human timetable concerning you will catch fire today. Every human timetable will be suspended today and at the Lagos Service this weekend. Where they said your time is over, they shall welcome you! Where age was a barrier to your marriage or breakthrough, it shall scatter today!
No human calendar shall stop you again because special favor is being released on you now and at the weekend anointing service. MERCY shall be your name! GLORY shall be your nickname! And testimony shall be your canopy! Prepare to be in that Lagos program and pray seriously now because something new is about to happen. I see rules catching fire and I see every protocol bowing to your feet of destiny. Amen! Pray now!

Message:
The Church is a body of saints being prepared as the Bride of Christ to be married to Him at His second coming (Ephesians 5:25-27). It is also a spiritual body of which Jesus Christ is the Head (Colossians 1:18). The Church of God is the meeting place of God and man, created as a means of uniting all people with God and with one another. The manifold wisdom of God, His mysteries, His nature, character and his attributes are revealed through His Church. Among all of God’s creatures, He did not find any of them worthy to be His dwelling place: a place of His rest. God cherishes His Church so much that He showers much care on her, and through her, He spreads Himself across the face of the earth.
In Matthew 16:18, the Lord decreed that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church; consequently, the Church of God is served by the ministry of angels (Hebrews 1:14). It is the only institution on earth that angels pay attention to as a matter of duty. The angels of God dote on His Church and admire her beauty (1 Peter 1:12). It is the only institution on earth which angels take interest in, and every bit of progress that the church makes in this world brings joy to them and cause them to celebrate (Luke 15:7). If you have not given your life to Christ, you can cause the angels of God to rejoice today by accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, thereby becoming a member of the body of Christ, which is the Church. As a member of the Church of God, you are expected to continually express your love for God in worship and practical service, which includes enduring hardness, afflictions and tribulations for the sake of God’s Kingdom. Always remember that Christianity is not bread and butter alone. Despite all the good promises of God to you, Jesus, in John 16:33b, also says to you,
“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
God’s attention is focused on His Church, and as a result, the devil can never prevail against you. However, you must learn to endure afflictions, and you must confidently confront evil. You must not be ashamed or afraid of witnessing Jesus. Always be mindful of the fact that the Holy Spirit is in you and the angels of God are at your service wherever you go.

Prayer Point:
Father, in Jesus’ Name, please give me the grace to endure hardship, afflictions and tribulations for the sake of Your Name.

TODAY'S READING: 1 Timothy 4:1-16

TOPIC: THE POWER TO BECOME
TEXT: John 1:12 (KJV) "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
The Bible says as many as received Him has been the power to become the sons of God. In other words, only those who receive Jesus as Lord have the power to become God's children. Your father or mother cannot make you a child of God. Your age or your good works are also insufficient. The power, authority and ability for anyone to become a child of God only comes through Him. No wonder the Lord Jesus said, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him..." John 6:44.
The Lord Jesus said to Peter and his brother Andrew, "Follow me and I will make you..." This means He has the power to make you successful and prosperous. David said, "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures". Psalm 23:2 referring to God's ability to prosper you and bring you into the land of superabundance.
If you have already received Jesus as Lord of your life, happy are you! This is because you no longer have to struggle to be rich, healthy, successful or victorious in life. He has already made you, just operate in the covenant.

3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Message:
The response of the Lord Jesus Christ to the question of a Samaritan woman on God’s approved location of acceptable worship, in john 4:20, put an end to the era where God could only be worshiped in specific places. John 4:21 & 23 says,
“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Jesus taught her that the time has come when true worshippers of God are not required to visit any physical temple or be present in any particular location in order to worship God acceptably. True worshippers can now worship the Father in spirit and truth.
Building on this teaching, Apostle Paul expounded that the dwelling of God is no longer in temples made by human hands (Acts 17:24). He further revealed that God, in the person of the Holy Spirit, now dwells in the body of those who have yielded to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians 6:19, he wrote this:
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
If you are indeed a Christian, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Out of love for you, God gave you a unique body, and He wants you to reciprocate His love by making good use of it. The question is, are you conscious of the fact that God’s Holy Spirit dwells in you. Are you aware that you are not your own, and that you are bought with a price? Are you aware that you are to glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:20)? As a child of God, God has taken ownership of your body. You therefore have no preferences in matters concerning your body. You must commit your body to God as a living sacrifice and consciously conduct yourself as the dwelling place of His Holy spirit. A Christian cannot therefore make choices about sexual orientation or engage in behaviours on the basis of personal preference. Without any ambiguity, God has made clear the purpose of our body; therefore, any notion about freedom of choice regarding sexuality and sexual acts is essentially incompatible with God’s word. God also warns that He will destroy those who defile His temple, which is our body. Take note of this and be wise!

Prayer Point:
Father, please abide in me; make my body Your dwelling place, and give me the grace to resist any temptation to misuse my body, in Jesus’ Name.

Topic: WHEN THREE RULES WERE BROKEN AND PROTOCOL SUSPENDED -1

(JOHN 9:29-41).
Welcome to today’s devtional write-up! The Holy Ghost is telling me to remind you that everything created by God is governed by rules. There are spiritual rules, there are economic rules, there are political rules, there are medical rules, but all these are natural rules. A rule is an established way of doing things. A rule can be described as an ordinance, a command, a pronoucement, a convention, a pattern which cannot be broken by any man. Rules are organised by laid down protocol or procedure. Rules when carelessly broken have severe consequences. However, your God is the Rule Changer and the Protocol Breaker. I call Him JEHOVAH BULLDOZER! He buldozes rules and scatter protocol just to get His people to their destiny land and that’s what God will do for you today and at the next Lagos Anointing Service.
In today’s scripture, the life of this blind man broke three rules (LAWS):
1. He broke the rule of asking and receiving! In Verse 36, he asked: “Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?” That means he didn’t even know who Jesus Christ was and the greatest shocker: he did not even ask or pray. Wow! The man did not pray! The law of asking and receiving was broken/suspended for this man! The Lord just healed him! As we continue tomorrow on the second and third rules that were broken, never forget the God who broke the rules for the sake of Hannah. Her son became a priest in Israel even though he was not from the priestly family of Levi. That same God will also change rules and break protocol for you ( 1 Samuel 1:21-28). Pray seriously now!

TOPIC: THE HOPE OF OUR CALLING.
TEXT: "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." Eph. 1 :18.
God wants the believer to know the hope of his calling in Christ Jesus.
If you don't know what you stand to get by virtue of your calling in Christ Jesus you will miss your inheritance.
Scripture lets us know that you have been given a lively hope in Christ Jesus, to the end that you become exactly like Him and function like Him in all aspects.
Part of what sponsors our hope is the unchanging state of His desires and plans for us. His thoughts towards you are ever peace (Jeremiah 29 :11), and that is what sponsors the believer's expectation to always see good. ( Psalm 27 :13).
When God's word comes to you, the first thing it does is to build hope in you; after which faith will be stirred in you to make that hope a present reality.
The hope of our calling is to see good and continuously walk in a kingdom principles that comes as a result of accessing our inheritance in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER
My Father, My Father, help me to know and understand the hope of my calling in Christ Jesus.

WHEN THE ANOINTED NEEDS PRAYERS. A MUST READ.

One of the greatest pain of most ministers of God around the world is that members don't even take out time to pray for them.
Members often see the anointed as a perfect and all holy man. But this is not true. An anointed man is one who God has given divine abilities to function in an office to the edification of the church. This doesn't mean the anointed is not human and can't be tempted with the same temptation the members go through.
Many members only remember to tell their pastors their problems but they don't remember to pray for their pastors in the place of prayer.

Child of God, understand this; The anointed, the gifted, the men and women of God with great works also need prayers because they are also saints like you.

✅No matter your giftings, your revelations from Gods Word, your position in church, your abilities to manifest the unction of God's Spirit. You still need someone to pray for you.

The reason why many men and women of God are going to hell today is because members have failed to pray for them. No matter how anointed or gifted a man of God is, he still needs your prayers. No matter how gifted or anointed a brother or sister in church is, they still need your prayers.

Learn to pray for the leaders and pastors and ministers of God of our generation.

Good morning beloved, today, we shall yet continue with the topic "Stop Them Lord " to give you a proper understanding that God can stop the adversaries of your destiny however He chooses.
All you need to do is to operate in the covenant and pray asking the Lord to stop them.
God says, "Concerning the work of mine hands command ye me ".
God wants you to decree justice and He will execute it.
Another instance where God stopped another ignorant enemy is in Genesis chapter 20 when Abraham sojourned in Gerar and had said Sarah his wife was his sister for fear of not been killed and Abimelech took her.
Whatever is against your wellbeing or peace is an enemy.
God had to stop Abimelech. Scripture says, "But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife".
Abimelech explained that he did such in the integrity of his heart and the innocence of his hands because Abraham and Sarah said they were siblings and the Lord revealed what He first did to stop him. "...
Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her." Genesis 20 :5 - 6.
God is still very much in the business of stopping every opposition to the wellbeing of His children.

PRAYER
O God, My Father, as I pray, stop every opposition to my wellbeing by fire.

HARDCORE TRUTH ON GODLY RELATIONSHIP/MARRIAGE BY BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO.

1. There is nothing that threatens the security of a man than the thought of another man competing for the attention and affection of his wife. Nothing is more painful. Nothing is more disrespecting. Nothing is more insulting. Nothing is more belittling and degrading.

2. Marriage flourishes when the couple work together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score.
Good marriages don't just happen. They are a product of hard work.

3. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage.

4. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly. Any man can admire a beautiful woman, but it takes a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and beautiful.

5. When a husband puts his wife first above everyone and everything except God, it gives his wife the sense of security and honor that every wife hungers for.

6. A successful marriage doesn't require a big house, a perfect spouse, a million dollars or an expensive car. You can have all the above and still have a miserable marriage. A successful marriage requires honesty, undying commitment and selfless love and Jesus at the center of it all.

7. Pray for your spouse every day; in the morning, in the afternoon and at evening. Don’t wait until there is a problem. Don’t wait until there is an affair. Don’t wait until something bad happens. Don’t wait until your spouse is tempted. Shield your spouse with prayer and cover your marriage with the fence of prayer.

8. The people you surround yourself with have a lot of influence on your marriage. Friends can build or break your marriage; choose them wisely.

9. One spouse cannot build a marriage alone when the other spouse is committed to destroying it. Marriage works when both husband and wife work together as a team to build their marriage.

10. Don't take your spouse for granted. Don't take advantage of your spouse's meekness and goodness. Don't mistake your spouse's loyalty for desperation. Don't misuse or abuse your spouse's trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you.

11. Beware of marital advice from single people. Regardless of how sincere their advice may be, most of it is theoretical and not derived from real life experiences. If you really need Godly advice, seek it from God-fearing, impartial and prayerful mature couples whose resolve has been tested by time and shaped by trials.

12. Dear wife, Don't underestimate the power of the tongue on your marriage. The tongue has the power to crush your marriage or build it up. Don't let the Devil use your tongue to kill your spouse's image, self-confidence and aspirations. Let God use your tongue to build up your marriage and bless and praise your spouse.

4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Message:
The Lord spoke the words of today’s memory verse to Joshua at a very crucial time in his life. Moses, the man of God, had just departed and handed over the baton of spiritual and political leadership of Israel to him. Obviously, this was a very scary thing for Joshua. Having been the servant of Moses, he knew the severity of the spiritual assignment ahead. He also had firsthand experience of the several episode of political intrigue and multiple rebellions against his master. Joshua least expected the leadership mantle to fall on him, since there were (at least) seventy elders ahead of him, most of whom he esteemed to be better suited as political leaders compared to himself. There was also the family of priests, members of which he reckoned to be more experienced for the spiritual leadership of Israel. Nevertheless, although age, experience and maturity may not have favoured him, it still pleased the Lord to appoint him as a replacement for Moses; and knowing Joshua’s fearful state of mind, He therefore spoke those words of assurance to encourage and embolden him in his new assignment. I pray for you today, you will receive divine support and assurance that will propel you to success in Jesus’ Name.
Today, God is telling you that there shall be no barrier to your promotion, success and breakthrough, God has the power to make such declaration about you because He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. All powers in heaven and on earth belong to Him, and His word is Yea and Amen. Numbers 23:19 says this about Him:
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
We have assurance in the word of God that God is able to bring whatever he says to reality. I therefore, encourage you to rely on his promise to you, knowing well that He is the Creator of all things - whether visible or invisible, all things were created by Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). Furthermore, you also have reason to believe strongly that there shall be no barrier to the fulfillment of your destiny because of His mighty acts both in history and even now. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Holy One of Israel, who delivered the Israelites from 430 years of captivity. He parted the Red Sea and provided manna in the wilderness. He is the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer, who heals, delivers and raises the dead. May His Name be praised forever.
Prayer Point:
Father, please speak a word of support and assurance into my life today that will send jitters down the spine of my enemies and detractors in Jesus’ Name.

HE’S LAVISHED HIS LOVE ON YOU.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not (1 John 3:1).
The word, “bestowed” in our opening verse means, “lavished.” Therefore, putting it rightly, it should read, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath lavished upon us….”
This is the sense in which God has loved us—with an everlasting love: love without limits. Think about it: we, who shouldn’t have been known of God, who shouldn’t have ever come close to God are now, as a result of the superabundant love He’s lavished upon us, accepted of Him. We’re now called the sons of God. This is an amazing reality. 1 John 3:2 says, _“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”_
Notice it’s not talking about us becoming the sons of God when we get to heaven; it’s not a futuristic thing; we’re sons of God NOW!However, in our outward appearance, we may not look so, but for sure, when He comes, we shall be like Him in appearance. But already, as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). As He is loved of God, so are we. The Father loves you as much as He loves Jesus.
You’re secured in the Father’s love; take advantage of His everlasting love for you. He loves you as though you were the only one on earth! Not only is His love for you without limits, it’s also unconditional. The Bible says, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10). Clearly, He demonstrated His boundless love for us, even while we were yet in sin. Have faith in that love, for it’s been poured out abundantly for you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for lavishly pouring out your love upon me and giving me all things that pertain unto life and godliness. I can boldly declare that I’ve been accepted in the beloved, and blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TEXT: Ephesians 3:10 (KJV)  "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,"

God wants His wisdom displayed, and the vehicle via which He wants to display His wisdom is the church (The Body Of Christ). And it will interest you to realize that you are the body of Christ. So, God wants to make you a spectacle and a show piece of His wisdom. He wants to humble principalities and powers and rulers of darkness in high places by your life. Therefore, refuse to admit that you are a nobody and subscribe to the truth that you are God's vehicles through which the powers of darkness will be humbled in these last days. You are His (God's) battle axe (Jeremiah 51:20). Don't let people call you foolish because you are the vehicle of God's kingdom. When men look at you, they should see God's wisdom in display. Therefore, if God's wisdom must find expression in your life, you must of necessity do what God commands: Study God's word which is God's wisdom bank as He says Joshua 1:8 (KJV)  "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Also you must pray asking for wisdom from God who gives wisdom. James 1:5.

My Father, my Father, make me a display of your uncommon wisdom.

Don’t Beg With His Name

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God
(2 Corinthians 5:20).
The Word of God describes us as “Christ’s ambassadors.” This means we’re officially appointed and designated as His legal representatives in the earth. We’ve been given the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. We act in His Name. When we affirm anything or make a decree in the Name of Jesus, it’s as though Jesus Himself decreed it. We speak for Him, or speak in His place, when we use the Name of Jesus.
Some people resort to begging with that Name, and that’s wrong. How can you beg using the greatest and most powerful name there is? The Name of Jesus is the biggest Name in all the universe, because it belongs to the One who has all power and authority. And He gave you His Name to live by.
Read Paul’s submission in Philippians 2:9-10, as he describes that Name: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Don’t beg with that name or in that name; rather, make decrees.
Recall what Peter did with that name in Acts 3. He used it as an instrument against lameness and paralysis. He eyeballed a man who had been lame from birth and said, “…Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). This wasn’t prayer; Peter didn’t beg God to heal the man. What he did was to use the Name of Jesus as an instrument.
When you make demands on the basis of the instrumentality of the Name of Jesus, He sees to it that it happens (John 14:14). Use His Name to put the devil and his cohorts under your feet—where they belong. Use it to establish yourself in the triumphant life, in all-around success, health, prosperity, and joy. Use it to make your life glorious!

CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for granting me the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus. I take advantage of this wonderful instrument to put the devil and his demons, sin, sickness and death in their place—defeated! The circumstances of life are compelled to work for my good, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Message:
Weapons of war usually fall under two major categories: offensive and defensive. Body armour can be classified as defensive weapons of war against missiles, projectiles and handheld combat weapons; they work as protective covering, designed to safeguard vital parts of the body. Today’s Bible reading talks about spiritual warfare, revealing how the different parts of physical body armour mirror the spiritual armour available to us as believers in Christ. We have at our disposal invisible weapons of spiritual warfare that are potent against the wicked assault of the enemy. In Ephesian 6:11, our spiritual armour is referred to as the armour of God, which implies that it possesses divine attributes, making it indestructible by the power of the devil. We are invited to “put on the whole armour of God”. However, this armour is inaccessible to those who have not accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ over their lives.
Putting on the armour of God is equivalent to putting on Jesus, and He is more than enough to protect us against all evil and temptations we may encounter. Romans 13:14 says,
“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”
Putting on Jesus involves accepting Him as Lord and Saviour, meditating on His word day and night, living a life of holiness, and spreading His gospel. I pray that in the heat of the battle of life, the armour of God will be your strong defense in Jesus’ Name.
The Bible used the imagery of physical warfare to communicate a powerful spiritual message to us in Ephesian 6:10-18. Firstly, we are asked to gird our waist with the sturdy belt of the truth. It’s with this same belt that our sword is fastened to our body. In the days of old, a soldier girded in this manner was recognized as being on active duty. We are expected to gird ourselves with truth as the foundation of all our spiritual activities. Next, we are to find our protection in righteousness. Also, our feet should be ever ready to move with the gospel of peace. We should arm ourselves with the shield of faith to quench all the fiery arrows of the enemy. To protect our head, the most important part of our body, we must put on the helmet of salvation. The helmet of salvation is required to protect our spiritual destiny. Finally, as soldiers of Christ, we are to wield the “sword of the Spirit” which is the spoken word of God. As the only offensive weapon mentioned, this is the soldier’s most important weapon, and it is supplied by the Holy spirit. I decree that God will fortify you and make you untouchable to the devil in Jesus’ Name.
Prayer Point:
Father, please prepare and equip me for battle as a good soldier of Christ in Jesus’ Name.

Topic: A WORM CAN BE A BOMB!

( ISAIAH 41:8-15).
Today’s Basic Scripture Vs 14-15 is amazing! Amazing because it is between the word ‘confusing’ and the word ‘misleading,’ and yet it is none of both. How can a worm that is delicate, weak and easily bruised by a stone or crushed beneath any foot become a sharp instrument of war? That is the wonder of the God you serve and that is is one of the mysteries of why you are passing through some battles that your brain cannot comprehend. God called Jacob a worm- despised, weak, unconnected, disrespectful, hated, used and dumped, disliked, etc, yet God told him: “Fear not, I will help thee……..I will make thee a sharp threshing instrument having teeth: Thou shall thresh the mountains ( Problems, obstacles and difficulties) and beat them small……”
When God allows certain trials or disappointments
, He is helping you or turning you from a worm to a bomb. Only bombs can break mountains. So God can make the darkest disappointment, break it up and discover a precious jewel of grace within. Williams Hazlitt wrote: “Prosperity is a great teacher; adversity is a greater teacher.” Coventry Patmore also wrote: “Every evil is some good spelt backwards and in it the wise know how to read wisdom.” Winston Churchill told his nation: “We shall draw from the heart of suffering, itself the means of inspiration and survival.”
Truly, it is a mystery why tribulations produce patience (Romans 5:3), but for a worm to become a sharp threshing instrument ( a bomb) against satanic kingdoms, God allows the worm to pass through the University of Temporary Difficulty (UTD). The certificate you get at the end is an MBA – Mountain Buldozer Anointing! Yes, worms can become bombs! Hold on and hold out forever! ( Pray for me against a blackmailing Syndicate).

17:2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Message:
In Genesis 17:1, for the first time, God revealed Himself as El-Shaddai: the Almighty God. Here, He was reiterating His wonderful promises to Abraham at the age of ninety-nine, particularly that he would bear a son, despite him and Sarah being very advanced in age. Prior to this revelation, God had been identified as the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and He had also made Himself known as the God who knows all things. However, this time, He wanted to introduce Himself as the God who has the power to do all things. The eternal power of the Almighty is evident in the work of creation, and at a more personal level, the exceeding greatness of His power is expressed in all believers by the regeneration of our spirit man, through the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead (Romans 1:20, Ephesians 1:19-20).
Several accounts in the Bible teach us that the unlimited power of the Almighty is always at work in any given situation to make all things go according to His original plan and purpose. For example, in the book of Ruth, Naomi was the only survivor of a tragic family decision to sojourn in the land of Moab. After a ten-year absence, the Lord brought her back to Bethlehem in His character as Jehovah, the covenant-keeping God. Later on, in His capacity as the Almighty, He exercised His power to implement His purpose in the life of Ruth and Naomi, so much so that the same circumstances that Naomi found to be bitter in Ruth 1:20 went on to bring about great joy and celebration at the end of the day. What a mighty God we serve! I therefore decree into your life, no matter what you are passing through at the moment, the original purpose of God for your life shall be established in the mighty Name of Jesus.
The almightiness of God can be translated to mean that with God, nothing shall be impossible. The Almighty God has proved Himself beyond any reasonable doubt in this regard. The book of Genesis reveals the power of God to bring everything we see in creation today into reality from virtually nothing. Exodus showcases among others things the execution of the ten plagues and the final deliverance of Israel from the hand of pharaoh in such a miraculous way. Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy highlight the journey of the Israelites through the wilderness with great miracles and wonders attending to them daily. Joshua records how a feeble, worn-out and ill-equipped nation of Israel was assisted by the Almighty God to destroy and inherit the lands of nations consisting of giants. The list is inexhaustible! I therefore decree, that the power of the Almighty God will work in your life today to do the impossible, in the mighty Name of Jesus.

THE TOE - TAPPER: YOU ARE A V.I.P
( 1 CORINTHIANS 12:18-27).

One day, a wise man came to a small town and needed a place to stay, so he went to the nearest church. He met a group of people arguing about how they could best please God. “I will help you, “the man told them, “but you must promise to use what I give you to glorify God.” They agreed. He then went on to give each of them gifts – one was to be a pianist, another a flutist, to another he gave a sexaphone, to another a violin and to yet another he gave the role of toe-tapping, I.e. using his feet to tap the floor. At first, the team worked together and their production was marvelous till one day when during a practice session, the violinist said to the pianist, “I am so glad I have the important job of playing the violin, I thank God I am not the ordinary toe-tapper.” That statement so hurt the toe-tapper that he dropped out of the group.
The result was that their next concert was a flop. Then the flutist said in frustration: “Without that toe-tapper here, I don’t know when to come in for my part”. The saxophonist said the same thing till the violonist with tears apologized: “I am the reason for this mess. I thought I was so important that I didn’t need the help of the toe-tapper; I was wrong”. They apologized to the toe-tapper and next Sunday, their church was so blessed and God looked down, smile and even winked at the toe-tapper! 1 Cor. 12: 26-28 talks about the fact that every child of God is crucial. You are very important to God in your local church or wherever you are!
Never give give up in that little area where God has called you. Never despise yourself or envy another minister or ministry! Stay where you have been given grace and heaven will make a difference with your life. The Pastor on TV and the unseen sweeper of the church floor will receive the same reward because God does not reward glamour or visibility. He rewards the 12 – letter word: FAITHFULNESS! Never look down on yourself! You are a VIP!

2. Repent from looking down on yourself or the little assignments in your local church. Repent from pride in the past!
3. Tell God to use you and make a difference with your life.

Welcome to your RHEMA for Living this glorious morning. Today, we shall be continuing with the topic we started yesterday "Much Much More" by looking at several other instances in scripture in which God did much much more beyond the prayers of men.
We shall begin with Jacob. When he knelt down at Bethel to pray, he asked the Lord to give Him food to eat and clothes to put on as he continued on his journey. But what did God give him? When he came back to Bethel several years later, his family and possessions were divided into large groups. He had thousands of sheep and Camel as well as much wealth. God heard him and had done immeasurable more than he had asked. God will always do beyond what we ask of Him that is why He is God. So, begin to enlarge your expectation, do not limit yourself. No matter what you demand according to his will, he has more than enough resources to meet your needs beyond your asking. I love what Rachel did when God remembered her and she conceived and bore a son. The Bible says, "And she called His name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son". And truly she had another son. Hannah did not only bore Samuel, but had many others children because God does exceeding abundantly above what we could ever think or ask of.

O God, My Father, in the affairs of my life, do beyond my asking...
