Living Out The Word

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (James 1:25)
Doing the Word of God should be natural for you as a Christian, because being born again, you’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23). That means you have the natureof the Word, which gives you the ability to do the Word. Simply living out the Word is the key to an excellent and victorious life; that’s where the blessing is.
Where some Christians have a problem is that they don’t know how to do the Word. Some think that doing the Word means “obeying” the Word, no; both thoughts may sound similar, but they’re very different. In the Old Testament, they were told to obey the Word of God. In the New Testament, we don’t obey the Word of God; we do the Word of God! In the Old Testament, the Word was to them an outside force. In the New Testament, it’s an inside force. The Word lives in us today; we’re born of the Word, and are thus, one with the Word.
You’ll only have to obey the Word if you had a different life or nature apart from the Word. God’s Word is your life, and through the “mirror principle,” He made it possible for you to live out the Word.
Here’s how it works: The Word of God is the mirror of God. The Bible says anyone who hears the Word and doesn’t do what it says, is like a man who sees himself in a mirror, turns around and forgets what he looks like (James 1:23-24). This means that God expects you to see yourself the way He sees you in His Word, and then act accordingly.
For example, the Word says you’re a joint-heir with Christ; therefore, you should never talk broke or live as one who’s disadvantaged in life. The world belongs to you as much as it belongs to Christ. All things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). Irrespective of your feelings or the circumstances, endorse these truths and act on them accordingly. The blessing is in acting on the Word, not just hearing or believing it. The creative power of the Word becomes effective once ignited by the faith-response from your spirit, bringing about a transformation in your life, from glory to glory.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you because your Word is working mightily and producing results in me. My life is for your glory, and I exude the excellence of the Spirit, fruitful and productive in every good work, and manifesting the fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

2). Don't expose your husband's weaknesses to your family and friends. It will bounce back at you. You are each other's keeper.

3). Never use attitudes and moods to communicate to your husband, you never know how your husband will interpret
them. Defensive women don't have a happy home.

4). Never compare your husband to other men, you've no idea what their life is all about. If you attack his Ego, his Love for you will diminish.

5). Never ill treat your husband's friends because you don't like them, the person who's supposed to get rid of them is your husband.

6). Never forget that your husband married you, not your maid or anyone else. Do your duties.

7). Never assign anyone to give attention to your husband, people may do everything else but your husband is your own responsibility.

8). Never blame your husband if he comes back home empty handed. Rather encourage him.

9). Never be a wasteful wife, your husband's sweat is too precious to be wasted.

10). Never pretend to be sick for the purpose of denying your husband's right. You must give it to him how he wants it. It's very important to Men, if you keep denying him, it is a matter of time before another woman takes over that duty. No man can withstand on starvation for too long (even the anointed
ones)

11). Never compare your husband to your one time Ex-lover. Your home may Never recover from it if you do.

12). Never answer for your husband in public opinion polls, let him handle what is directed to him although he may answer for you in public opinion polls.

13). Never shout or challenge your husband in front of children. Wise Women don't do that.

14). Don't forget to check the smartness of your husband before he checks out.

15). Never allow your friends to be too close to your husband.

16). Never be in a hurry in the bathroom and on the dressing table. Out there your husband is always surrounded by women who took their time on their looks.

17). Your parents or family or friends do not have the final say in your marriage. Don't waste your time looking up to them for a final word. You must Leave if you want to Cleave.

18). Never base your love on monetary things. Will you still submit to him even if you earn more money than him?

19). Don't forget that husbands want attention and good listeners, never be too busy for him. Good communication is the bed rock of every happy home.

20). If your idea worked better than his, never compare yourself to him. Its always team work.

21). Don't be too judgmental to your husband. No man wants a Nagging wife.

22). A lazy wife is a careless wife. She doesn't even know that her body needs a bath.

23). Does your husband like a kind of cooked food? Try to change your cooking. No man jokes with food.

24). Never be too demanding to your husband, enjoy every moment, resource as it comes.

25). Make a glass of water the very first welcome to your husband and everyone entering your home. Sweetness of attitude is true beauty.

26). Don't associate with women who have a wrong mental attitude about marriage.

27). Your marriage is as valuable to you as the value that you give it. Recklessness is unacceptable.

28) A confrontational wife, can never keep a good husband and her home, she will be grooming irresponsible daughters without manners.

29) A woman who cannot manage her children, home and  husband is a complete failure in life no matter her achievements.

30) A wise woman honors her husband, and respect him, in turn the husband will cherish her and love her dearly - it will be natural. Husband is a beautiful gift from God, no woman can stay without a husband. No good man on earth can tolerate a confrontational and argumentative wife except they have lost their value and become less of a real man.

31). Fruit of the womb is a blessing from the Lord, love your children and teach them well.

32). You are never too old to influence your home. Never reduce your care for your family for any reason.

33). A prayerful wife is very wise and intelligent and she  is a  better equipped wife, pray always for your husband and family. Conquer all your challenges and problems with prayers, only Christ can solve our problems - not parent, not pastors, not anybody but, only you and Christ.

Scriptural Reading: ‘But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’. 1Corinthians 15:57.
When you come to the knowledge of the truth (the word of God), you will never fear anymore. The Bible says,. ‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth our fear: because hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.’ (1John 4:18). The reason some born again, Spirit-filled Christians experience lots of tumult in their lives is because they have given their lives to fear.
The more you become acquainted with God and His awesome personality, the more you become aware that you are victorious in every circumstance, and fear will be a thing of the past. In 1John5:4, the Bible says, ‘for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.’ The word calls you an overcomer.
You are not struggling to overcome for you have already overcome. God has given us the victory therefore; you don’t have to try to get the victory. You don’t hope or pray to be victorious; neither do you look forward to victory. You are the victorious one! Child of God, enter into the life of victory today for that is the place where God called you to. Find out what belongs to you, what you can do and where God called you are in Christ Jesus. Anything is possible when you know who you are in Christ. Declare Philippians 4: 13.

My Father, My Maker, as i pray, make me an embodiment of your strength, grace and power throughout my life in Jesus name.

Read: James 1:5-8
1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
MESSAGE
God can make you laugh when He decides to overrule your doubts. Going by the standard set in today’s Bible reading, if you are double minded over an issue you brought before God, you should not expect anything from Him. However, if you doubt God in a given situation and He overlooks your doubt and grants your petition, know for sure He is doing it solely because of His grace. In Genesis 18:9-15, when God visited Abraham and said his wife Sarah was going to have a baby in nine months’ time, she laughed. She could not believe that she could ever be pregnant at age 90. She laughed because she had never seen such a thing happen before. Are you laughing over God’s promises and declarations over your life? Are you laughing because you have never seen anyone who experienced that kind of miracle? Stop your laugh of doubt and believe God today! Why? If there is no precedent to follow, God can make yours a precedence that others would refer to.
A life of faith is so important to God that four different times in the Bible, He repeatedly said “The just shall live by faith” (Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38). However, as a manifestation of His sovereignty, He also says that whenever He makes up His mind to do something, nobody and nothing can hinder Him – not even your doubts (Isaiah 43:13). I pray that every good plan and purpose of God for your life shall be established in spite of your doubts in Jesus’ Name! We see this truth demonstrated in 2 Kings4:8-17. When Elisha declared to the Shunammite woman that she would have a son after nine months, she replied, “Man of God, please don’t deceive me”. This meant that she did not believe Him. Although Elisha did not say anything after that, God had already spoken, and so the matter was settled. She thereafter, had her baby in accordance to Elisha’s declaration. This season, God will overrule your doubts and give you that expected miracle. There are some people who believe God’s promise for a little while then fall into doubt again. Over the years, they have continuously swung back and forth between faith and doubt and so have not been able to receive God’s promise. This season, by the mercy of the Most High God, the Lord will override our doubts and make the impossible possible in your life in Jesus’ Name. God’s mercy will show up for you today! Your laughing season starts now.

Prayer Point:
Father, in your mercy, override my doubts and every stumbling block on my way, and cause my laughter to begin today.

Our Place Of Glory And Victory In Him

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love where with he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ ,(by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together,and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6).
Ephesians 1:21 says Jesus Christ is seated in the place of authority in the heavenly realms, not just above or near above, but “far” above all principality and power, every ruler ship or government, and the authority by which they govern. The Wuest Translation says, “…over “…over and above every government authority and power and lordship….” lordship….” Blessed be God! There’s none like Jesus! He has the supremacy and dominion over all things.
However, the most beautiful and inspiring part of it all is our connection to Him in His victory, glory, and authority. Remember that we’re members of His body; we’re connected to Him. Read our theme scripture again and see the connection; it reveals your current location, your place of glory and victory in Him. You’ve been raised up together, and made to sit together in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.
This therefore means you’re over and above all principality and power, every rulership or government, and the authority by which they govern. You have the supremacy and dominion over all things. It doesn’t matter where you go in this world, be in charge and in control. Refuse to be sick. Say “no” to anything that hurts or binds. You’re not an ordinary person. You’re superior to Satan, demons and all their influences.
You’re a victor in Christ Jesus, born to reign and rule over circumstances. Always acknowledge and affirm who you are, what you have, your connection with the Lord Jesus Christ, and your place of glory and victory in Him.

I’m seated with Christ in the place of authority,, over and above all principality,, power,, and the rulers of the darkness of this world!! II live in the dominion,, victory, and glory of Christ;; my life is the expression of God’s righteousness, and the manifestation of His wisdom and excellence,, now and forever, in Jesus’ Name.. Amen

LEARN FROM THE MATTIE STEPHANEK!
( JOB 2:10; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:15-24).
How do you see life in this new month of May? Take a look at the innocent lines below from a 13 year-old boy, Mattie Stephanek:
“I want people to know that in every life, there are storms. But we just remember to pray after every storm and to celebrate the gift of life as we have it, or else life becomes a task, rather than a gift. We must always listen to the song in our hearts and share the song with others.” This boy, Mattie Stephanek, had a rare form of the disease called Muscular Dystrophy which means his breathing, heart rate, body temperation, oxygenation, digestion, etc, were not automatic!
In his own case, HE USED EXTRA OXYGEN ALL THE TIME and when tired or sleeping he used a ventilator that breathed for him, saved energy and moved his medical equipments around. In the midst of all these, Mattie Stephanek saw life as a gift! Even when he had the opportunity of chatting on the phone with former U.S President, Jimmy Carter from his hospital bed, his focus was on problems in Bosnia and Africa, not his health condition. If you and I had such an opportunity, well your guess is as good as mine.
In 2017, if we can take each day as a gift, then the storm will not weigh us down. If we can make each day as a gift, then we will be grateful and contented with what we have and where we are today. If we can take each day as a gift, our lives will be devoid of murmuring and complaining. POWERFUL WEAPONS TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE

1. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A WEAKNESS

Only God has no weakness. Every rose flower has its own thorn. If you focus too much on your spouse’s weakness, you can’t get the best out of his/her strength.

2. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A DARK HISTORY

No one is an angel, therefore, avoid digging one’s past. What matters is the present life of your partner. Old things are passed away. Try to forgive and forget. The past can’t be changed. So focus on the present and the future!

3. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS IT’S OWN CHALLENGES

Marriage is not bed of roses. Every shining marriage has gone through its own test of hot and excruciating fire. True love is proved in time of challenge. Fight for your marriage! Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in time of needs. Remember this is the vow you made on your wedding day!

4. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SUCCESS

Don’t compare your marriage with anyone! We can never be equal, some will be far in front and others far behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time, your marriage dreams shall come true.

5. TO MARRY IS TO DECLARE A WAR

When you marry, you must declare a war against enemies of marriage. Some of the enemies of marriage are: Ignorance, Prayerlessness, Unforgiveness, Adultery, Third Party Influence, Stinginess, Stubbornness, Lack Of Love, Rudeness, Wife battery, Laziness, Divorce etc. Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone.

6. THERE IS NO PERFECT MARRIAGE

There is no ready made marriage anywhere. Marriage is hard work, volunteer yourself and perfect it daily. Marriage is like a MOTOR CAR with a gear oil, gear box, etc If these parts are not properly maintained, the car will break down somewhere along the road and expose the occupant to unhealthy circumstances. – Many of us are careless about our marriage… Are you? If you are, please pay attention to your marriage.

7. God CANNOT GIVE YOU THE COMPLETE PERSON YOU DESIRE

God gives you, him or her in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould what you desire. You may desire a woman who can pray for 1 hours but your wife can only pray for 30 minutes. With your love, prayer and encouragement, she can improve.

8. TO MARRY IS TO TAKE A RISK

You cannot predict what will happen after marriage, as situation may change, so, leave a room for adjustment. Pregnancy may not come in the next 4 years. You may get married to him because she's slim but she becomes a little fat after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years that you have to take the financial responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But with God by your side, you will smile at long last.

9. MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT, IT IS PERMANENT

Marriage needs total commitment, love is the glue that makes a couple stick together. Divorce starts in the mind. Never think of divorce! Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married!

10. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS A PRICE TO PAY

Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money you deposit into your bank account that you can withdrawn. If you don’t deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate of a blissful home. There is no free love in marriage, You cannot love without giving and sacrificing.

May God grant us the grace and wisdom to succeed in it.
