SWITZERLAND TO RETURN $321MILLION ABACHA’S LOOT

Switzerland announced on Monday that around $321 million public funds looted by former Nigerian military ruler, Sani Abacha will be returned to Nigeria. The money, originally deposited in Luxembourg, was confiscated by a Swiss court in late 2014 and in March last year, the two states signed an agreement on its repatriation.

“In accordance with policy on repayment of national assets taken illegally, Switzerland has agreed with Nigeria and the World Bank to return nearly US$321 for the benefit of the Nigerian people,” the Swiss government said in a statement.

Military ruler Abacha, in power from 1993 until his death in 1998, is suspected to have embezzled $2.2 billion from Nigeria’s central bank in what the United States has called “brazen acts of kleptocracy.” The Swiss statement said these funds were frozen in a legal procedure by Geneva’s public prosecutor against Abba Abacha, Sani Abacha’s son.

President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the Senate to request confirmation of his appointment of Mr. Anthony Ojukwu as Executive Secretary of the National Human Right Commission.

President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, read the letter to senators at the plenary on Tuesday.

The letter read, “‎In accordance with provisions of Section 8 of the National Human Rights Commission Act 2010, I have the pleasure to present Mr. Anthony Okechuwku Ojukwu for confirmation as the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission by the Senate.

TAIWAN RAINBOW 'LASTS RECORD-BREAKING 9 HOURS

A rainbow may be a wondrous sight but for most people it's also a fairly fleeting one. But last week, professors and students of the Chinese Culture University in Taipei's mountains were treated to one that lasted for nine hours. "It was amazing… It felt like a gift from the sky... It's so rare!" said Chou Kun-hsuan, a professor in the university's Department of Atmospheric Sciences.

Prof Chou and a second professor, Liu Ching-huang, led the efforts to document the rainbow with the help of the department's students and the campus community. Their observations, pictures and video recordings showed the rainbow lasted from 06:57 until 15:55 - eight hours and 58 minutes.

If confirmed, it would shatter the previous record for the longest-lasting rainbow, set in Yorkshire, England, on 14 March 1994. That rainbow was recorded as lasting six hours, from 09:00 to 15:00, according to the Guinness World Records. Rainbows typically last much less than an hour, according to the Guinness website.

LIONEL MESSI STATUE IN BUENOS AIRES VANDALIZED AGAIN

A statue of Argentine football star Lionel Messi has been vandalised in the capital, Buenos Aires. The bronze statue was chopped off just above the ankles, with the main "body" left lying on the pavement. 
It is the second time the statue, which was unveiled in June 2016, has been targeted by vandals. Police said the motive was unclear. 
Messi recently saved Argentina's 2018 World Cup place when he scored a hat-trick against Ecuador in October. 
Argentine media tweeted pictures of the vandalised statue.

FORMER AG MARIETTA BREW TO REPRESENT VICTIM IN LEBANESE RAPE CASE

A former Attorney General, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, will be serving as legal counsel for the 19-year-old house help suspected to have been raped by her Lebanese boss. The victim said the suspect beat her after his apparent displeasure with the coffee she had prepared for him and subsequently raped her.

Mrs. Appiah-Oppong said she was keenly following the case, amid indications there may have been some negligence on the part of some Airport police personnel. The former Attorney General, however expressed some satisfaction with the course of the investigations so far, and said she will ensure justice is served. The fact that the police jumped onto the case early bodes well for the investigation, she added.

“We are fortunate to have caught this one early so that the investigation can be done properly. Very often, by the time we become aware of a situation like this, time has elapsed, evidence is lost and it becomes very difficult to follow up on it. That is why we are very keen to follow up on this one to make sure that the proper investigation and proper prosecution is also done,” Mrs. Appiah-Oppong said.

Mesut Ozil was the difference maker as Arsenal were made to work hard before securing a flattering 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the Emirates on Wednesday.

TOPIC: YOUR WORDS SHOULD QUICKEN

TEXT: Nehemiah 2:18 "Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. "

The word you say to people God has brought your way may be as subordinates in your place of work, fellow believers in the same department or units with you in church or team members on the same assignment; matters a lot. Your words should ginger men to work. The words of a believer should have life, it should elevate the spirit of men to work. Don't talk down or try to pull down the work. Don't be that! Scripture says, "Death and life are in power of the tongue". How are your words to fellow men in the same task with you? How many have your words stirred up to work? How your words encouraging? Some people will not work and do not want others to work by their words. Every rebellion, strife, contention begin with them; such persons will be judge by God. The people of Nehemiah, that is, his fellow brethren in captivity were not there when Nehemiah met with the king, but his positive and encouraging words to them made them say " let us rise up and build" and they strengthened their hands for the good work. Do not be a vision destroyer. Desist from weakening the hands of people from workiy because maybe you want the leader or the head of the organization or department to fail. Let your words only quicken men to work.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REPATRIATES 242 NIGERIANS FROM LIBYA.

Following several ‘save our soul’ messages from Nigerian migrants stranded in Libya, the Federal Government has responded to the maltreatment of its citizen in the country. Nigerians numbering 242 from Libya were returned to the country on Tuesday evening. The returnees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos on Libyan Airline plane.

A recording artist, Nikki Laoye, was at the airport along with officials of National Emergency Management Agency, International Organization of Migration and National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons to receive the Libyan returnees.

The Federal Government had on Monday, promised to intervene and rescue Nigerian migrants in the North African country. In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said it was liaising with the Libyan officials on repatriating Nigerians from the country.

The ministry said that the mission in Libya had addressed kidnapping of Nigerians for ransom by foreigners, adding that other cases involving Nigerians who kidnapped their compatriots for ransom in Libya were equally reported to the embassy for intervention.

FIFA WILL NOT TOLERATE RACISM AT 2018 WORLD CUP

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has said racism will not be tolerated at next year's World Cup in Russia, adding that referees will have the power to stop or even abandon matches if discriminatory incidents take place.

Several players, including Brazil and former Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk, have voiced concerns that racism could mar the tournament, saying such incidents are a regular feature of domestic league games in the country.

"We'll make sure that no incidents will happen and... we have for the first time in a World Cup the so-called, three-step procedure where a referee can stop a game or even abandon a game if there are discriminatory or racist incidences," he added.

Infantino, who was elected FIFA president in February of last year, also said technology would play a big role at the tournament, although a final decision on using video assistant referees (VARs) would only be taken next year.

"So video assistant refereeing is a topic which will be decided in March of next year but the experience so far has been extremely positive to help the referee not to commit big mistakes which obviously as a human being he can do."

GRAND CHAMPION HARUMAFUJI TO RETIRE OVER ASSAULT INCIDENT

Grand champion Harumafuji has told Japan's sumo association he intends to retire, an association spokesman said on Wednesday, after his assault of a junior wrestler tainted the image of the national sport just as it was regaining popularity.

The 33-year-old Mongolian-born "yokozuna" (grand champion) apologized earlier this month after media reported he had beaten junior wrestler Takanoiwa while drinking at a restaurant-bar with other wrestlers.

The incident has highlighted the ancient sport's struggle to reform harsh conditions that can breed violence in its closed, hierarchical world, although some wrestlers say there have been improvements in the decade since a trainee was beaten to death by other wrestlers.

"Sumo, recognizing its responsibility as the sport with the longest history in Japan, must stamp out violence so that the expectations of the people, including youth, are not again betrayed," Education Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, whose ministry oversees sports, said in a parliamentary committee meeting.

The head of an advisory body to the JSA, the Yokozuna Deliberation Council, had said this week the affair warranted "extremely harsh punishment" but did not issue a final decision because both the JSA and police were still investigating.

1. A guy met one of his school mates several years after school and he could not believe his eyes; his friend was driving one of the latest sleek Mercedes Benz cars. He went home feeling awful and very disappointed in himself. He thought he was a failure. What he didn't know was that his friend was a driver and had been sent on errand with his boss's car!

2. Rosemary nagged her husband always for not being romantic. She accused him for not getting down to open the car door for her as her friend Jane's husband did when he dropped her off at work. What Rosemary didn't know was that Jane's husband's car had a faulty door that could only be opened from the outside!

3. Sampson's wife went to visit one of her long time friends and was very troubled for seeing the 3 lovely kids of her friend playing around. Her problem was that she had only one child and have been struggling to conceive for the past five years. What she didn't know was that one of those kids who was the biological child of her friend had sickle cell and had just a year to live; the other two are adopted!

4. Life does not have a universal measuring tool; so create yours and use it.
Looking at people and comparing yourself with them will not make you better but bitter. If you know the sort of load the chameleon carries, you would'nt ask why it takes those gentle strides. 1. Ein Typ traf einige Jahre nach der Schule auf einen seiner Schulkameraden und er konnte seinen Augen nicht trauen; Sein Freund fuhr einen der neuesten schlanken Mercedes-Benz-Autos. Er ging nach Hause, fühlte sich schrecklich und sehr enttäuscht. Er dachte, er sei ein Versager. Was er nicht wusste, war, dass sein Freund ein Fahrer war und mit dem Auto seines Chefs auf Besorgungen geschickt worden war!

2. Rosemary nagte immer an ihrem Ehemann, weil er nicht romantisch war. Sie beschuldigte ihn, dass er nicht heruntergekommen war, um die Autotür für sie zu öffnen, wie es der Ehemann ihrer Freundin Jane tat, als er sie bei der Arbeit absetzte. Was Rosemary nicht wusste, war, dass Janes Ehemann eine defekte Tür hatte, die nur von außen geöffnet werden konnte!

3. Sampsons Frau besuchte einen ihrer langjährigen Freunde und war sehr beunruhigt, als sie sah, wie die drei reizenden Kinder ihrer Freundin herumspielten. Ihr Problem war, dass sie nur ein Kind hatte und in den letzten fünf Jahren um die Empfängnis gekämpft hatte. Was sie nicht wusste, war, dass eines dieser Kinder, das das biologische Kind ihres Freundes war, eine Sichelzelle hatte und nur ein Jahr zu leben hatte; die anderen beiden sind adoptiert!

4. Das Leben hat kein universelles Messinstrument; Erschaffe also deine und verwende sie.
Wenn man Menschen betrachtet und sich mit ihnen vergleicht, wird man nicht besser, sondern bitterer. Wenn Sie die Art der Ladung kennen, die das Chamäleon trägt, würden Sie nicht fragen, warum es diese sanften Schritte braucht. Also, genieße was du hast und sei Gott dafür dankbar. Pass auf alle auf deiner Liste um von den Fehlern anderer zu lernen

The President of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has addressed the recent tithe controversy that has been generating series of arguments on the social media.
He reacted and replied Daddy Freeze’s understanding on tithes during a church service as revealed that anyone who isn’t a Pastor has no right to attack a Pastor on church issues.
He said:
“Let it be clear that if anyone is not a pastor, he has no right to attack a pastor on church issue. He should leave everything to God. I only laugh. Somebody who is not a doctor cannot teach a certified doctor how to go about doing his job; he will just be laughed at. Someone who is not a journalist can’t teach a true journalist how he should do his work; they will just be laughing at him.
I wouldn’t have spoken on the issue but you don’t argue with a man whose mind is already made up on any issue. It is futile. And I’m not going to confuse anybody to pay tithe, no. if you attend my church and you decide not to pay tithe, it’s left to you. In my church they don’t pay me allowance. I live on my personal businesses and I write books. So far, I have written 52 books that are inspirational and I’m still writing. If you write books that are inspirational, believers and non-believers will buy. It is not as if it is only church members that buy pastors’ books. That alone is enough to sustain any pastor. So, you don’t just jump to criticize any pastor for buying private jets of expensive cars because you think it is tithe that they use to buy them.
If you asked me, there is nothing wrong with tithing. But tithes should be used by pastors to maintain Christianity, assist the poor in the church, the vulnerable and the stranded. Not that everything should go into the pastor’s pocket, that’s wrong. Every pastor should be on allowance.
That young man does not deserve a response; in fact, I’m not talking because of him but because my Papa, Pastor Adeboye had spoken, I’m speaking on the issue. Now, if it requires that we go into a debate, let’s have it. Yes, your tithe is not a license to make heaven but it is an acknowledgment of God’s mercy in your life. But because Papa Adeboye corrected the wrong notion and the young man dared to respond to him, I felt it was insulting. This is not about sentiment or emotion, it is about commonsense. You don’t respond to an elder in certain manner, especially a man of Pastor Adeboye’s standing.
There are things people shouldn’t just dabble into especially when it is not their field. Even if you mobilize the whole world against tithing, you will only end up being counterproductive because this is not your field. Men of God do not need to react to such issues because like I said earlier, once somebody has made up his mind on a position, nobody should argue with such a man. My reaction to such a man is, if that is your position, keep it, continue with what you believe but don’t confuse people to believe what you believe.”

“PASTORS WHO COLLECT OFFERINGS AT CRUSADES ARE THIEVES” – EVANGELIST REINHARD BONNKE

Popular Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke who is currently in Nigeria for his farewell crusade, has told prospective worshipers that he doesn’t collect offerings during his crusades.
“We are here to bless you; we have brought you gifts of salvation and deliverance; we are here to give and not to take anything from you.
“Anyone who asks you to give offering for this crusade is a thief and should be reported immediately,” the sponsors of the crusade, Christ for All Nations, warns participants on Thursday at the crusade ground.
This counter statement came after the Preacher was accused of seizing the opportunity offered by the huge crowd at Bonnke’s crusade, to raise money for personal use.
50-year-old Mr. Ifeanyi Duru, who spoke to The Punch correspondent, said Bonnke’s decision to not raise offerings at his crusades is “an attestation to his sincerity” in only being concerned about “the salvation of souls.”
Duru recalled that as a student in the University of Benin in the mid 1980s, a popular preacher from the region (name withheld) had to contend with the activities of people he described as “rogues” who tried to raise unofficial offerings from the crowd.
“The preacher, who is now late, had decided to collect offering during his open-air crusades, but some unscrupulous persons tried to outsmart him,” Duru said.
“The colours to be used were announced just a few seconds to the commencement of each offering collection; and because the rogues had no prior idea, they were defeated in their purpose,” Duru said.
He, however, commended Bonnke’s “caring heart” for refusing to succumb to what he called “the temptation to exploit the crowd,” who he said would have given “generously” if asked.

RICH PASTORS IGNORING THE POOR FALANA MOCKS ADEBOYE, OTHERS.

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) condemned the rate of poverty and unemployment in the country, despite the existence of billionaire Christian leaders.
Falana at the ongoing Lagos Book and Arts Festival (LABAF) holding in Freedom Park, Lagos, took a swipe at Nigerian pastors, accusing them of milking their congregants.
The legal luminary wondered how most of them lived in so much affluence but failed to give back to the society.
He also mocked General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for saying RCCG will have as many branches as possible.
Falana lambasted Adeboye and other clerics who prefer to increase branches, instead of focusing on other institutions like schools and hospitals.
His words: “Most of the richest pastors in the world are from Nigeria, yet our people are getting poorer.
“If many of us had not attended mission schools built by the Catholics and the Anglicans…but what are we building now? What are our churches giving us?
“They are promising to build churches in every street. All the warehouses in Apapa built by Awolowo have all become churches and business centres.”
Recall that Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie recently criticised Adeboye’s comment, stating that there is no Godliness in increasing church branches.
“I heard that one of my colleagues, (Pastor Enoch) Adeboye, said that he would love to build churches everywhere so as to make it easy for worshippers to walk to them.
“But for me, that is a useless statement. How can you say you will build churches everywhere? What kind of churches are you talking about?
“Look at traffic in Lagos for example, and those who are pastors are traders and a good number of them are business men. Such churches in most cases are more like business houses!
“Look at the number of churches springing up in Lagos. If the Muslims start building mosques like that, does it show that Nigeria is a religious country?”

The above scripture means the season when no one recognized or thought anything good would come of you is over. If they are thinking that sickness will finish you, they are in for a rude shock. If they are thinking you will never recover from that loss you incurred in business, the surprise of their life awaits them.
When God has turned things around positively for you, you will be a surprise. It will be the LORD'S doing, and it will be marvellous in the eyes of everybody.
“And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?” (Mark 12:11)
God will prove Himself in your life. He has corrected your past mistakes. Now, enter into your release!
Everything in life works with time. Did you know that in the Bible, God gave a time He would chain up Satan? I may not know your name or what you have gone through. Also, I may not know what dreams you have had that were bad. But I know this one thing. The season your enemies oppressed you is over. That is why I say to you: Arise! Your Jubilee has come!
Word of Wisdom: Natural seasons can be influenced, prolonged, or provoked positively or negatively.
Prayer/Confession: Sing praise and worship songs. Any evil power saying no to my ‘ARISE’ in life, wherever you are, catch fire now, in Jesus’ name. I will never quit or give up on the issues of life.

11TH HOUR FAVOUR. BY PAPA AYO ORITSEJAFOR

Message: 11TH HOUR FAVOUR
“And Samson called unto the lord and said. O lord God, remember me I pray thee, and strengthen me only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.” (Judges 16: 28)

In Matt. 20:1-15, Jesus told the story of a man who hired labourers to work for Him. The first set of labourers started work in the morning. The second set started towards evening And the third set started at the eleventh hour. When all the labourers finished working, he paid all of them equally. When those who started work in the morning saw what had happened, they became angry and protested about the equal pay. The man explained to the aggrieved workers that he had been fair to them because he paid them what they agreed on. He went on to tell them that it was for him to decide how much to pay those that started work later.
The eleventh hour and the numeral 11 represent favour. It is noteworthy that the workers hired at the eleventh hour did not exert as much energy as those who started work in the morning. It was favour at work.
I pray for you: This season, God will give you the heart-warming things that you do not deserve. You will work and God will multiply your reward.
In John 21:11, Peter told Jesus that they made no catch throughout the night while fishing. Jesus ordered him to cast the fishing net to the right side of the boat, and it resulted in a big catch. Fishing is best done at night but at day, the eleventh hour, just when they were about to give up, favour came to them on two feet.
Jesus is Favour. He is in your life. You have favour. Use it today.
Word of Wisdom: When God releases favour in your direction, it will astonish you the great height and possibilities you can attain.

Prayer/Confession: LORD, release the eleventh hour favour into my life now,, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA EARLY LIFE AND MINISTRY AND DEATH.

Joseph Ayo Babalola. His Early Life, Ministry And Death
Joseph Ayo Babalola, the founder of Christ Apostolic Church, was born on 25th, April 1904 in Odo-Owa, Ilofa, Kwara state.
He was born into the family of late pa David Lawani Rotimi and madam Martha Talabi Rotimi.
Babalola was born and brought up in Anglican Church. He was brought to Lagos by his uncle, Mr. M. O Rotimi who was a teacher at C. M. S.
Joseph attended an elementary school at Oto-Awori on Badagry road, Methodist school, Ago Ijaye in Ebute meta before moving to Osun where he attended M. S. C school in Oshogbo.
He stopped schooling to learn Blacksmith and later became a stream roller operator under PWD(Public Works Department).
He became a prophet of God in 1928 when God called him on Akure - Ilesha road in October 9th by river Ariran. On 11th of the same month and year, He was also called by God to abandon his job and start preaching.
Babalola harkened to the voice and received the call when he fasted and prayed.
Joseph was later sent out of Anglican Church in his village by the Bishop because majority of the church members have being seeing visions, speaking in tongues and praying energetically. He was baptized at Lagos Lagoon in 1928.
Babalola first miracle was in September 1930 when he woke up a dead child, a week later, He also healed lepers, blind and lame people.
This brought about the great revival of 1930 which recorded massive attendance from Africa and Diaspora without advert.
Babalola ministry was given Bell, Water, Staff and Bible. The bell was used to invite Angels of God during prayer gatherings and the water was used to heal people of their sicknesses.
Babalola’s shortest and brief prayer was that of 3 to 4 hours. It was remarked by Elder Abraham Owoyemi of Odo-Owa that the prophet regularly saw angels who delivered divine messages to him and that An angel appeared in one of his prayers and forbade him to wear caps.
In 1930 Faith Tabernacle affiliated with the British Apostolic Church. Then following a separation in the Apostolic Church about 1940, Babalola went with a new independent church, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where he continued his healing and revivalist activities until his death.
It was recorded that Babalola wasn't the sole founder of C. A
C as people do think today. The church had three (3) founding fathers, the registration of the church under cooperate affairs commission in 1943 gave credence to this as Pastor Akinyele and Odunbanjo was recognized as the first president and vice president / General superintendent respectively while Ayo Babalola was known as the General Evangelist.
The great Apostle of God died on July, 1959. This happened almost 30years of his calling.
As at today, the church is still in existence with international recognition.
The CAC regards Babalola as an apostle and his revival ministry as the beginning of the church. A CAC retreat center and University in his name have been built at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State where Babalola was first called in 1928 by God. OBI EFEIZOMOR II OF OWA KINGDOM: THE MODERNIST

Emmanuel Efeizomor was born on the 10th day of March, 1938. At his early age he surmounted all odds, impediments, difficulties and obstacles to attain great heights. The post-colonial era coincides almost precisely with his ascension to the ancient throne of Owa Kingdom as the 17th Obi of Owa on the 6th day of September 1959. He studied in Sapele, Port-Harcourt, Ibadan, Britain and United States of America (USA). His exposure and experience equipped him with a clear vision and mission to transform Owa into a kingdom of civilized people and modernized structure.
As a result of his wealth of knowledge acquired through aggressive reading and learning, Obi (Dr.) Efeizomor II (JP) OON put in place a formidable administrative structure that attracts followership. He has the kind of character that civilizations have sought in their good rulers. He endeared himself to very many well-Meaning people because he works diligently at whatever assignment he is entrusted. His total commitment to the cause of his people, his determination and perseverance to succeed, his democratic leadership style, his advocacy for gender equality, and his intellectual prowess and utilization of the ball pen to earn an enviable living are worthy of emulation.
Obi (Dr.) Efeizomor II is seen as a monarch of towering stature. He is one of the most accomplished traditional rulers in Nigeria. His achievement during the past fifty years in office is a testimony of his ability to adapt to ever changing social, economic and political situation. He is an icon of compassionate fatherhood whose values would continue to be a good reference point. His achievement covers the areas of educational development of himself and his subjects, mobilization of Owa Communities for self help and Community Development, and active support for government to develop Owa kingdom. Obi (Dr.) Efeizomor II formed, revived and mobilized several community organizations of Ndiowa. Notable among these wee Owa Patriotic Union, Owa development committee, Owa Youths Association and Boji-Boji Owa Community Development Committee. He put forward a developmental philosophy of “Heaven helps those that help themselves” By his self help approach many earth Roads, Markets etc., were built and expanded. He ensured that educational facilities are made available in his domain. Thus in collaboration with the Christian Missions and government; the following Secondary Schools were founded.

ii. Owa Grammar School, Owa-Oyibu in 1979
iii. Owa-Alero Secondary / Commercial School, Owa-Alero in 1979
iv. Owanta Grammar School, Owanta in 1980

Right from the time of his coronation in 1959, successive governments and other well-meaning organizations have never failed to acknowledge Obi (Dr.) E. O. Efeizomor’s immense contributions towards the peace, unity and development of Owa kingdom and beyond. He was a member, Western Rgional House of Chiefs 1960 to 1963, member Mid-west Region leaders of thought during the civil war, member Delta State Government delegation to several Northern State of Nigeria 1971 to date, member Bendel State Tradtional Rulers Council 1967 to 1991; Director, Nigeria Cocoa Board 1979, Managing Director Toprest (Nigeria) Limited, Insurance Brokers and firm of Building Contractor 1976, member Governing Council, Institute of Journalism, Benin City 1988 to 1990, member Delta State Traditional Ruler’s Council, Representative on WAEC State committee 1996 to 2004 and member, Committee on misuse of title, Delta State 2000 to 2006 among others.
Obi (Dr.) Efeizomor II was Chairman Ika and Asaba Divisional Income Tax Review tribunal 1961, Chairman panel on ways of improving / increasing government Tax collection in Ika Division; Chairman Ika Divisional Education Board 1973 to 1975, Chairman National Freedom from Hunger campaign Bendel State 1974 to 1976, Chairman State Advisory Committee on Education for citizenship 1977, Chairman Land use Allocation Advisory committee in Ika Local Government Area; Chairman Police Community Relations Committee 1985, Chairman Zonal Police Public Relation Committee, Ika, Ndokwa, Aniocha and Osimili Local Government Areas 1987 to 1992; Chairman EPI, ORT implementation committee Ika Local Government area 1987, Chairman Ika MAMSER implementation committee 1987 to 1992, Chairman Committee on land Dispute in Gbariagolor, Alidinma Scheme 1977 and Vice Chairman Presidential Panel on Warri Crisis 2003 among others.

TOPIC: JESUS HAS TAKEN AWAY ALL OF YOUR SICKNESS

TEXT: Matthew 8:17 (KJV)  "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."

Good news! Good news!! Good news!!! Jesus has carried away all of our sickness irrespective of the name the doctor calls it, it doesn't matter. The fact is what the doctor told you is what his equipment and diagnosis told him; but the truth is what the word of God is saying about you now "By His stripes you were healed". Take a look at Isaiah 53:4, 1 Peter 2:24, Jesus has taken your sickness away, don't bother looking for it.

Reasons Why People Are Still Carry Their Sickness About
1. Doctor's report
2. People's opinion about the sickness.
3. What the sickness has done to victims before them.
4. Basing judgment on how they feel has a result of the devastating effect the sickness have on them.
5. Fear. Child of God, God is asking you in Isaiah 53:1, whose report do you believe? If you can't believe Jesus on this, is a sign you still enjoy carrying your sickness, but if you are tired of carrying it, then allow Jesus to carry it away from you by believing His report"

PRAYER
My Father, My Father, as I pray, I receive unwavering stand in your report for my health.

12 WAYS TO IDENTIFY PHARISEES IN YOUR CHURCH

This message is not to judge anyone rather to awaken our consciousness about our maker.
1. They go to work early but come to church late.
2. They beg their boss when they err but threaten to leave church whenever there is a misunderstanding.
3. They work hard to be promoted at work but treat the work of God with levity.
4. They pay all their dues in the workplace but refuse to pay tithe in the church.
5. They buy costly things for their boss to get favour but can't even buy airtime for their pastor.
6. When they are not going to be in the office, they take permission ahead from their superior; but
expect pastor and elders to pay them visits when they miss church without notice.
7. They fear and respect their boss than their pastor and even sometimes more than God.
8. When they are sick they manage to go to work but they cannot manage to come to the church.
9. They take official query serious but handle divine rebuke with disdain.
10. They tolerate their colleagues in the workplace but cannot tolerate the brethren.
11. They turn off their phones at workplace, butH use calls to distract other worshippers in Church.
12. They can work overtime in the office but get offended at the pastor if he's not closing at the stipulated time.
QUESTION:
Look inward first, are you one of them?
1.Is there any in your church?
2. What can you do to help them please?
3. Do you know that they may miss heaven if not checked?
may God help us to help them.

that you are not a Pharisee but real child of God, who shall make heaven at last but please let us rise to help others.

NO MATTER HOW ANOINTED YOU ARE, IF YOU DON'T STUDY THE BIBLE, YOU'RE JUST A SPIRITUALIST, NOT A SPIRITUAL PERSON

1. Dear singer, if you don't study the Bible, you're in the music industry, not music ministry. You'll sing nonsense and call it "gospel" like we do today.
2. Dear usher, if you don't study the Bible, you're a traffic warden. You simply maintain foot traffic in the assembly.
3. Dear Bible study leader, if you don't study the Bible, you're a public speaker, not a minister. You'll preach rubbish.
4. Dear children department group, if you don't study the Bible, you're just a social juvenile worker.
5. Dear drama group member, if you don't study the Bible, you're just doing Nollywood.
6. Dear instrumentalist and technical unit member, if you don't study the Bible, you're just a D Jay.
7. Dear Prophet, if you don't study the Bible, you're just a soothsayer. You'll be predicting Arsenal vs Leicester city, not anything relevant to God's kingdom on earth.
8. Dear Christian writer, if you don't study the Bible, you're just D. O. Fagunwa, Chinua Achebe, or the writer of "Eze goes to school." You'll write for fiction, not for the Kingdom.
9. Dear Christian motivational speaker, if you don't study the Bible, you're just a psychologist.
10. Dear church members, if you don't study the Bible, your pastor can lead you astray.
11. No matter how anointed you are, if you don't study the Bible, you're just a spiritualist, not a spiritual person.
Those who preach and teach alone aren't the only ones called by God to be rich in the Word of faith and sound doctrine. Every child of God is.
This is the reason why many are "engaged" by churches, but aren't imparted. This is why much of what some call "service" in God's household may result in futility.
