MOVE FROM YESTERDAY!
( DEUTERONOMY 1:1-7).
Thank God you are alive to witness the great year called 2017! You must understand that your past is important, but it is not nearly as important to your present as in the way you see your future. If you learn from the defeat/mistakes of the past, then you haven’t really lost. In this second quarter of 2017, God wants you to move from yesterday! Yes, you have fasted and prayed in the past, you have sown seeds in the past, you have practiced holiness/obedience in the past and yet you still experienced certain disappointments here and there.
What God is saying to you through today’s devotional is that, it is not over and your past labor is not in vain. Do you know that your enemies were also disappointed that you made it thus far? But do you know that they have determined never to give up on you? So, why will you give up on God and your golden future? Forget your past pain! I repeat as I have often been led to counsel/ write: Stop playing the old love songs you used to share with the lover who jilted you. Stop driving by that person’s house if possible! Stop staring at old pictures and stop reading old love letters because that person was destined to be a part of your future history. Look into the future because it is carrying your EVIDENCE. Stop rewinding your mind to the business partner who betrayed you or your trusted relatives / friends who scandalized you.
No matter how your past was, heaven is saying afresh: “MOVE FROM YESTERDAY.” You have dwelt long enough on this mountain of the past. Do you know that Mount Horeb( a part of MT. Sinai) was the pinnacle where the burning bush was revealed and the 10 commandments given? God hates your being connected to the past and remaining there! The key is verse 7: “TURN YE! It means, “turn and advance” (NIV). Forget the past! YOUR BEST DAYS ARE STILL AHEAD and I see a great testimony which shall be the EVIDENCE that you serve “Jehovah Over Do!” This is your year! Amen!

1. Thank God for today’s word and pray as you are led!
2. Pray for the grace to forget the past! Lord, do a new thing in my life and ministry.
3. In this year 2017, I recover all my caged glory from any evil witchcraft coven in Jesus Christ name ( Pray it seriously).
4. Pray any other prayer(s) as led.
