TODAY'S READING Matthew 26:1-35
TOPIC:
JOY AFTER LABOUR.
TEXT: "Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?" Isaiah 29:16.
The life of Jesus demonstrates a picture of beauty that comes out of the soul after suffering. Your labour room is your suffering period; a period of trials where you are bruised. Jesus is our example of how we are to live our life during our walk on earth. We need to experience suffering in this life after that we are perfected.
It is not our job to ask why we suffer. But it is our job to trust God in midst of suffering that all things will work for our good. At labour room there is much pain exhibited, yet a baby is the reward of that pain; a bundle of joy, far greater than whatever pains undergone. Understand that you are in the labour room and the grace to go through will overwhelm you.
Believe that it is God's desire to pass you through the labour room without which you can't can have that baby. That bundle of joy, your testimony or breakthrough will come after your trying period. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. The travailing of Jesus birthed eternal salvation for us. If Jesus did not suffer, we wouldn't have gotten eternity with the Father. What we go through is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us.
PRAYER
My Father, My God, in this moment of carrying the cross, sustain me pass through it.
