TOPIC: TOTAL SUBMISSION
Text: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ” James 4:7
When total submission is not in view, every other thing will be out of place; even the demons of hell might likely not obey you as a believer. When you are in full submission to God's ordinances, you will be in command of every situation of life. You can only revenge every disobedience only when your own obedience has been fully met
and fulfilled. Obedience is part of God's command that you must submit to as'a believer.
In a family setting, the degree to which the wife is willing and ready to submit to her husband is the degree to which she will enjoy her home and her marriage life. In like manner, the church being the bride (wife) of Christ is expected to submit to Him in totality in order to walk in perfect kingdom dominion. You will notice that creation only rebelled Adam as soon as he chose to unsubscribe to divine authority by disobedience. Not until the disobedience of Adam, creation never fought or disobeyed him.
This therefore establishes the truth that if you fail to submit to divine ordinance, creation will likely never submit to you.
PRAYER My Father, My Father, help me to submit to divine ordinances.
