TOPIC: WISDOM PRESERVES (2)
SCRIPTURAL READING, [1John 3:1-24]
TEXT: And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months. And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink. And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him. [Exodus 2:2-4] The wisdom of God will always preserve. In our text, the mother of moses had to hide him for a period to secure him; and when she no longer hide him, she positioned him correctly with his sister afar off to watch what would happen to him. Child of God, most things you leap into that resulted in pain is because you did not seek the wisdom of God before making those decisions. God's counsel is worth awaiting for. There should be times to think and pray, seek the wisdom of God on issues and until God answers, those matters should be suspended. Some believers out of over zealousness to test the power in them have gone for family deliverance outside the leading of God and have truncated their divine assignments, some of them returned possessed with what they went to cast out. Allow God rule your life with His wisdom. Scriptures even spelt it out, "lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partakers of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
PRAYER:
O God, my father, as I pray, may your wisdom not be lacking in my life.
