25TH FEBRUARY 2017 RHEMA FOR LIVING WITH GOD'S GENERALS APOSTLE PROF AND REV DR LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN.

Scriptural reading: [Lev.19:1-18]

TOPIC:
THE GREATEST LOSS OF A CHRISTIAN

TEXT:
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren". [Romans 8:29]                                           God's ultimate desire for the believer is for him to be conformed to the image of Jesus. As a believer, you have to understand that no loss is as great as not maintaining the true image of Christ's image here speaks of His character, His way of doing things, His love, His humility, His patience, His longsuffering. So, when you get offended by your neighbour, whose image do you portray? Is it that of Jesus or that of the old man? The greatest gift God has given to man, the greatest privilege and honour God has given to man is the possibility of man behaving like Him. To lose this position of Christ likeness and godliness is the highest loss of any believer. True spiritual growth is marked by how you can live the Godly life and exhibit the Christ like character to your world. The wealth of a Christian is seen in how much he has   been conformed to the image of Jesus. So make this your number one priority and make a difference in your world

PRAYER
My father, my father, help me to demonstrate your character to my generation.
