BEWARE OF PRIDE
TEXT:
" In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve ." [Proverb 14:3]
Pride is a manifestation of foolishness. Pride is the character manifestation of empty headed man. It is pride that collapses a destiny. Irrespective of your strength, when you permit the weakness called "pride", you are done-for! The man who wants to fulfill destiny and always command heaven's attention must come to understand that pride is his greatest enemy. Nobody ever became proud and succeeded in life. Pride inverts a Man's spirit. God Himself is the one who resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble. When God become your resistance, your are for sure doomed for life. If you think am lying, ask Lucifer. Lucifer's doom is external.
Pride is deadlier than HIV. The reason being that, when you have HIV, it could be detected. But you can be proud and not even know, and that is why you must maintain a constant fellowship in the word and prayer. God's word cleanses the heart from every object that is capable of killing it. The word of God in your heart is an anti-virus to whatever is not in alignment with God's standard of doing things. Allow God's Holy Spirit to rule your life, with Him, pride is a thing of the past.
PRAYER
My father, my maker, by your word, cleanse my heart from pride.
