"Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you." Isaiah 35:3-5
Child of God, your words of encouragement to the weak matters a great deal. Words are lifters; they are very powerful weapons of building and also for destroying. Scripture says, " Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong , fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance... "Whoever is fearful needs his faith to be quickened, and it can only be by the word of God. " So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17. It is therefore necessary to speak life into the life of a dying believer, to speak fruitfulness in situations of barrenness, to speak peace in turbulent circumstances. So, get a hold of the word of life and say words of faith to the weak and those with fearful hearts. They are definitely afraid because they have been blindfolded with the overrating of the challenges before them. Therefore, let them have the understanding of the intervention of the Almighty God with vengeance and with recompense. When they stand strong, it is also an obligation for them to lift up others with words of life. The circle is unending. It is not enough to sit around those with fearful hearts, you have a mandate to encourage them.
PRAYER
O God my father, help me to respond to the needs of my brethren with understanding.
