WELCOME TO 17TH MARCH 2017 EDITION OF RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM CHRISTIAN DAILY DEVOTIONALS WITH GOD'S GENERALS APOSTLE PROF AND REV DR LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN

Scriptural Reading: 2 chronicles 7:1-22

TOPIC:
FILL THE VACUUM

TEXT:
"Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Joshua."1:1-2.
The absence or death of someone usually creates a great vacuum. At times we mourn for the death of great heroes. Israel might have desired to have heroes like Moses throughout their life time but the reverse was the case. Vacuum created should not be regarded as crisis but as opportunity to some people. In Hebrews 11:32-35 "And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms,... They have gone, they left a vacuum that needs to be filled. Stop worshiping the saints of the Bible. They are looking for men who will fill their vacuums in this generation. These heroes in history even in their dying state were looking for who will succeed them. This is because success without a successor is equal to failure. In a relay race the first winner is not crowned until his successor wins. Brethren, take advantage of the successor of the past generation to go for double breakthrough.
Don't miss your time for this is the greatest moment to be alive. You shall make it in Jesus name.

PRAYER
My father, may grace sustain me and strengthen me to fill the vacuum.
