8TH MARCH 2017 OFM RHEMA FOR LIVING DAILY DEVOTIONALS WITH GOD'S GENERALS APOSTLE PROF AND REV DR LIZZY JOHNSON SULEMAN

Scriptural reading:
[2samuel 22:29-51]

TOPIC:
DIVINE INTIMACY

TEXT:"
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. [psalm 103:7] The man who understands God will always be sought after by men. It is not just enough to obtain from God; you must seek to maintain an intimate relationship with him. There is no way one can ever come to the full knowledge of God except by way of intimacy. It was recorded in the Bible that Moses went up on a forty days and forty nights fast with the Lord on the mount twice; and I strongly believe that was what culminated into the knowledge of God that he had.

No Wonder he never rebelled God like the rest of the Israelites. What intimacy does is that it helps you come into alignment with God's way of doing things and as well empower you to do things in God's standard. People fail in life because they don't understands their maker.  If you can know and understand God well, you have as well known and understood how you were created to function. For as he [Jesus] is, so are we in life [1 Jn. 4:17] . When you pursue a relationship with God, He will reveal himself to you. Therefore, understanding of God is a product of intimacy. The people of Israel wanted signs and God showed them but Moses desired a relationship and so God revealed himself. What is your own desire today? Is it signs or a revelation of Him

PRAYER                                         O God my father, as I pray, help me maintain a sound relationship with you.
